![]() ![]() This trick with the non-Steam shortcuts doesn't seem to be working. ![]() Do I need to somehow launch Elite via Steam for sure to get the Steam Controller to work? Or should it be able to run via Oculus Home and still see the controller? If I need to run it via Steam VR, should I just get my license key transferred from Oculus to Steam (if that's possible?). I had the original Frontier version, and when I bought the Rift, it required me to use the "Oculus" version through Oculus Home. I can use the right touch pad as a mouse, but cannot get the gyros for example to register (as mouse) in Elite. Nothing will allow me to browse any configs to download (such as the official Frontier config), nor allow Elite to see the controller in Controls. I have tried that with the client, the launcher, and even Oculus Home. I have tried adding shortcuts for Elite via the "Add a non-Steam game to My Library" function. In the Controller Settings of Big Picture Mode, the box next to Generic Gamepad Configuration Support has been unchecked throughout this process.
